Fantail is now providing services to support the supply and installation of heatpumps as part of the Warmer Kiwi Homes initiative from the EECA. This initiative pays 67% of the cost of a heat pump to be installed in the main living area. The grants are capped at $2,500. To be eligible for a grant you must be a home owner and your home must already be insulated in the roof and under the floor to EECA’s standards. Additional examples of being eligible for a grant is, but not limited to, based on the area you live in, being a Community Services Card holder, a Gold Card holder, etc.
